Xbox Returns to Tokyo Game Show 2025 with Livestream and Hands-On Demos

Microsoft is set to make a big return to Tokyo Game Show 2025 with a dedicated Xbox broadcast on Thursday, September 25, at 7 p.m. JST (3 a.m. PT / 6 a.m. ET / 11 a.m. BST). The livestream will showcase upcoming games from Xbox studios and announcements from partners across Japan, Asia, and global markets.
The event highlights Xbox’s commitment to the Japanese and Asian gaming scene, with a focus on Japan-inspired titles and creative projects from regional developers.
Visitors at TGS can also experience games and hardware firsthand. Koei Tecmo will present Ninja Gaiden 4, a new installment modernizing the series’ action mechanics. ASUS Republic of Gamers will let attendees try the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X handheld systems.
Bethesda will feature a merchandise booth in collaboration with Infolens Geek Shop, offering exclusive items from Fallout, Starfield, Doom, and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, many making their Japanese debut.
The Xbox broadcast will stream in multiple languages including Japanese, English, Korean, and Chinese, with additional support for Russian, Hindi, and Indonesian after the event. Accessibility features include Japanese and American Sign Language, as well as audio descriptions in Japanese and English.
For those who can’t watch live, Xbox Wire will provide recaps and localized summaries, along with individual game articles throughout the show.
